Employment support
Our offer
Finding a job or apprenticeship can be difficult - applications can be time-consuming, it can be difficult to use websites to find opportunities, challenging to write about your skills and experience, and interviews can be nerve-wracking. Our team of employment and careers advisers are here to give you 1-2-1 advice and guidance which you can access in the City library, community venues across the city, or online via telephone, video call and other platforms
Perhaps you have never worked before, or you are currently employed and looking for a change? Maybe you’ve been made redundant and don’t know which way to turn, or perhaps you are not sure what job you want to look for or where to look for vacancies? Whatever your challenge, if you're over 16 and a Newcastle resident, we will help you navigate your journey and support you to take the next steps towards work or training
