Support into Volunteering Coordinator (Newcastle)

Hours: 14 p/w
Salary: £29,870 per annum for full time hours

This exciting part-time role involves coordinating the delivery of a new programme in Newcastle called the Support into Volunteering Pathway. This programme will be delivered to Newcastle residents and will focus on supporting beneficiaries who are in recovery from addiction into volunteer roles across the city. The programme aims to enhance health, wealth, and wellbeing by helping beneficiaries find purpose, contribute to their community, and increase their skills, knowledge, and experience through volunteering.
We are looking for a people person with the ability to build strong relationships. You should be enthusiastic, self-motivated, and possess excellent organisational skills. A deep understanding of the needs and motivations of volunteers is essential. Knowledge of the needs of people in recovery from addiction, which can be from lived experience, is also essential. Your attitude, work ethic, and enthusiasm are as crucial to us as your experience.
